Hiking in the Baybach valley
The Baybach valley takes you on a journey of a very special kind. Rampant and wildly romantic, the Baybach river winds its 27 km from Hausbay in Hunsrück down to Burgen on the Mosel river. The Baybach valley with the Waldeck castle is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt valleys in the Hunsrück. Bordered by pristine nature and bizarre rock wall formations, gradually narrowing paths criss-cross the Baybachtal valley. Steep passages between the cliffs, which are secured by steel ropes, lead the way to a very special experience.
